In case you didn’t know, Sissoko is the leaked SBC today (thanks to FIFAUTITA and Discovery FUT of course). Below is the predicted face stats for the card. I don’t know about skills or weak foot, but I am pretty sure EA might boost it to 4* WF as they usually do with these types of cards.
Obviously just a prediction, but with the amount of fantastic french midfielders we have, I wouldn’t expect any less…
Which brings me to my next point. EA needs to do better with league balance in terms of cards they put out. I get that they have a set schedule for a lot of their promos, but it ALWAYS feels like one or two leagues get shafted. For this last promo, Summer Heat, Ligue 1 got absolutely ignored (besides, of course, the broken card that is Presenal Kimpembe). I get it, it is not the most popular league by any means. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who can name five teams from that league, let alone any players not playing for the team known as Paris Saint-Germain. However, I feel like there are still a lot of players that could have really fit into people’s squads, as well as into the meta, with great summer heat cards. It is tough to create content sometimes, I get it, but with the nature of the gaming world as it is today, sometimes the BARE MINIMUM of content needs to be pointed out, which I do believe is what EA is doing at the moment.
To be fair, since I know this will be brought up, the Ligue 1 TOTSSF cards are unreal, with many of them firm strongholds in people’s teams (including, of course, The Rat King, Ben Yedder TOTSSF).
Well, I can see why they would ignore the league. With the fewest rare golds in the game, Ligue 1 is typically known as the weakest league. That doesn’t mean there should be any less notice to it. FIFA Ultimate team should be a CELEBRATION of soccer for the WORLD, not just for Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, or LaLiga. That’s why it feels worse when some leagues just get ignored during promos. Now, of course, talking about promos as the revelation of creating content in FIFA will be a whole ‘other article. In my opinion, there is an issue itself of creating ONLY short-term objectives. But, as I mentioned, that’ll be a different article.
But my main gripe with this is that even though you will see the dynamic duo of Mbappe and Neymar on most teams, you won’t see other cards that I personally think would be a pretty cool addition to the game.
Now with all that being said, I do have to mention that it is of my opinion that the squad factor of fifa 20 is unreal this year. Last year you would only have a few meta cards that EVERYONE would have in their team (that being anyone over 6’ with 90+ jumping). This year, you will see a wide variety of teams from numerous types of leagues, which I do have to give EA a LOT of credit for. However, it is not enough. Every league should be able to field multiple squads that people can have.
There should have been a different player SBC every day. Why hasn’t there been another Silver FUT Star (like Akinfenwa) released? Why was there no Ligue 1 Dynamic Duo? Why did objectives get relegated to 2 per week, with no long term objectives after Summer Heat Bruno Fernandes and Summer Heat Ferland Mendy? There is so much available content that is out there on the web. All EA has to do is scour the internet for 30 minutes, and they would have enough player SBCs to release two per day. Maybe throw in a player into the league SBCs for Summer Heat.
In fact, why not show some love to Ligue 1 with a couple of SBC / Objective cards that would have been fantastic for this promo?

But regardless, having a different variety of cards would be cool. While I am happy that my favorite AC milan player Rebic has a summer heat card, I am not happy that other leagues and teams are getting passed by just because there isn’t enough time in a promo. Make time, EA! More content= more customers, and for the love of WHATEVER:
