Road To The Final Team 3 is coming out later this evening! With this in mind, we will be discussing on when to buy these RTTF cards and if they are even worth it.
Keep in mind, we just got the Round of 16 draw in the UCL and the Round of 32 Draw in the Europa League meaning that we wont see any UEFA action until at least February meaning that these RTTF will not be upgradeable until then.
NEW UCL RTTF CARDS
We are expecting a brand new RTTF team today. I’d imagine it will be at least 11 cards including Europa league cards too. Now, with these new cards you have to be careful. Like any promo, these cards will open up at some high prices and will likely drop as more and more supply gets added into the game. Like I said, we don’t have any UEFA football until February of 2021 meaning these cards will have no hype come next week. Looking at the chart below, you can see that most of the UCL cards continued to drop until around the first week or two of January and then started to slowly uptrend.
My guess is that these new RTTF cards will follow this trend and start rising up around mid-January as the hype for UCL starts to build back up.

The current RTTF cards are starting to follow a similar trend, as seen below on Gabriel Jesus’ graph on FIFA 21
Notice how since his upgrade, hes started to decline on both consoles and will slowly continue until the UCL hype starts to pick back up
So what’s the plan?
Personally I’m avoiding all these RTTF cards until at least January because there’s no incentive for them to go up unless your quick flipping them today, otherwise its just not a smart move to hold when you will likely be able to buy them much cheaper in 2 weeks!
